1. Dudu-Osun shampoo: The thing about buying shampoo is to buy the one that doesn’t contain sulphates because they dry out your hair. Most shampoos found in supermarkets contain sulphates so unless you are ready to go shop to shop checking the content of each shampoo, Dudu Osun or African black soap is a good alternative.

2. Dudu-Osun Conditioner: it help restore the PH balance in your hair after using shampoo. They can also be used to co-wash

3. Shea butter: This is one hair butter i have come to love not just for hair but also for skin. Shea butter is extracted from the seed of the shea fruit. The shea fruit comes from the West African Savannah and is typically harvested and hand processed by African women. It has been used for centuries as a healing and beauty balm(review coming soon)

4. Coconut oil: I use this oil most times on my edges as it helps to regrow lossed edges, it also add shines to the hair and also can be used as a styling products.Coconut oil is rich in anti-microbial properties, lauric acid, and medium-chain fatty acids that strengthen hair, condition the scalp, and help to regrow hair.

5. Jamaican black castor oil: Castor oil has been used for centuries to treat a number of ailments. Containing Vitamin E and Omega-6 fatty acids, Jamaican castor oil has many topical uses and is a natural hair treatment. Jamaicanblack castor is more popular since it raw, so it has more nutrients that thicken the hair. However, organic castor oil offers similar benefits like Increase hair growth, Reduce and prevent hair damage, Eliminate dry hair, make the hair fuller and shinier, Deeply condition, moisturize hair and scalp, Prevents dry scalp and You will also notice that your hair is stronger and won’t develop split ends that easily anymore.

6. Eco styler Gel: Every naturalista knows how awesome this gel is. Some people don’t consider this a staple product but I do because there is no way I will go out of my house without laying my edges even if my hair is in a protective style. If you don’t lay your edges people view you as unkempt. You can use any gel that works for you.  it comes in different variants, but I like the Argan oil version. The gel unlike other gels as it doesn’t leave a cast or flakky effect. it keeps your hair slick and manageable. Absolutely great for daily styling and high buns.

7. Oliver oil: It is a fantastic conditioner for hair, but there are many other things about this essential oil that make it  great  for hair care, it will nourish the scalp and improve the elasticity of the hair.

8. Honey: If you have dry or damaged hair, honey can help. A natural humectant, honey attracts moisture. It’s also full of antioxidants and nutrients to feed hair follicles that house the live part of hair, encouraging hair growth.

9. ORS EDGE CONTROL: I realised a lot of people don’t like this product, Many claim it gets oily or dries off white.I figured out most people do not know how to use this product properly. I discovered that when used in excess it truly dries white. The key is to use a little and apply with a small hair brush. I totally love it. It keeps my edges slick and neat.
